meetMELISSA
After navigating the illness and the loss of both of her parents, as their full time caregiver and medical advocate, Melissa experienced firsthand how difficult it is for families to manage care without clear guidance. Even with a medical background, she found the process exhausting, confusing, and emotionally draining. That experience changed the direction of her work.
Today, Melissa devotes her time to private patient and caregiver advocacy. She helps families navigate young and elderly care, dementia, medical decisions, and family dynamics with clarity, honesty, and compassion.
Her approach is grounded in both clinical knowledge and lived experience, allowing her to support families in a way that feels human, steady, and deeply informed.

What it feels like to work together
Most families tell me the same thing after our first few conversations. They feel calmer. Not because everything is solved, but because they are no longer holding it alone.
My approach is steady, honest, and grounded. I explain things in plain language. I ask questions you may not know to ask. I slow things down when emotions are high and help you think clearly when decisions feel overwhelming.
There is no judgment here. No pressure to do things perfectly. Just clear guidance and steady support in a situation that rarely feels clear or steady.
